The Mid-River Bulletin Board is a timely event and information service for and by the communities in and around the Mid-Connecticut River Valley of southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire. It’s facilitated by noncommercial community radio station WOOL 91.5 FM, which broadcasts from Bellows Falls, Vermont.

The Bulletin Board is about entertainment, education, and raising all boats, as opposed to commercial announcements. Sometimes that can be a bit of a fine line. That being said, to help cover the costs of providing this service, we do offer businesses the opportunity to advertise on the website, and to receive on-air recognition for underwriting WOOL-FM.

Bulletin Board announcements are accepted for community-enriching, quality-of-life things like:

• Arts and entertainment events
• Public events and meetings
• Workshops and seminars
• Lessons and classes
• Outdoor activities
• Not-for-profit fundraisers
• etc

There’s a review and approval process before submissions go live. Submissions may be edited for things like length and emotional superlatives; turnaround is usually pretty quick, but may occasionally take a day or two. For the best exposure, submit items at least a couple weeks prior to the event.

Submissions may be declined at the discretion of WOOL-FM or its agents. WOOL-FM isn’t responsible for errors, makes no guarantees, and is under no obligation of any sort.
