Fun Fest for Kids and Kids at Heart brings together puppetry, live music, circus arts, and interactive activities in a lively, family-friendly celebration. Experience the magic of Sandglass Theater with Punschi, an enchanting hand-puppet show performed under a giant umbrella. Created by Sandglass co-founder Ines Zeller Bass and brought to life by Jana Zeller, this charming performance draws from the rich tradition of German fairground puppetry—complete with humor, music, and plenty of audience participation.
Enjoy the high-energy sounds of The DiTrani Brothers, blending Balkan rhythms with early American jazz and swing for a lively, danceable set. Celebrate local talent with performances by the Putney Central School Music Program, featuring middle school modern and jazz bands showcasing their creativity and musical skill.
And there’s even more happening throughout the afternoon:
Take a turn on the flying trapeze with New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA)
Enjoy balloon creations by Doug the Devil Stick Man (4:00–5:30 PM)
Join a collaborative community art project led by Amber Paris
Explore activity tables hosted by local organizations
Whether you come to watch, play, or jump right in, Fun Fest for Kids and Kids at Heart is a joyful celebration of imagination, community, and the arts.
