2 free home-composting workshops coming up at the WSWMD compost demonstration area:
Wednesday, May 6th 4pm – 6pm
Saturday, May 9th 2pm – 4pm

Rain or shine, wear weather-appropriate clothes, park at the office building, and bring your questions! All levels of experience with composting are welcome—the more the merrier. Workshops may last for only 1 to 1 1/2 hours, but we have the space for 2 hours just in case!
WSWMD outreach coordinator Alex Lacy will be joined by 1-2 VT Master Composters to help troubleshoot your specific compost challenges! We will cover the basics of home composting, various styles of home composting, and help you build your composting confidence!

Please note that an access sticker is required to use the recycling and food scrap drop-off within the transfer station. Full-year stickers will be on sale May 1st for $60 and will expire on June 30, 2027. WSWMD is located at 327 Old Ferry Road in Brattleboro, VT. For more information call 802-257-0272
