This summer, young artists ages 5–13 are invited to explore their creativity through an exciting lineup of arts camps designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and foster community.
Creating with Clay kicks off the summer season from July 6–10. The camp is directed by Whitney Barrett at the Vermont Academy Clay Studio from 9-1pm. Designed for ages 7–10, this hands-on camp offers students the opportunity to explore clay techniques and bring their ideas to life in a supportive studio environment.
From July 20–24, Wildbrook Forest Theater Camp, hosted by Trish Roberts, invites ages 9–13 to step into the woods for a week of imaginative outdoor theater-making. Camp runs from 9-3pm. Participants will collaborate on storytelling, character development, and performance while drawing inspiration from the natural world.
Young performers can continue their theatrical journey with The Elven Sorcerers’ Consortium, written and directed by Putnam Smith, July 27–31 from 9am-3pm. This immersive theater camp for ages 9–13 culminates in public performances on July 31 and August 1 at 7 PM. Blending fantasy, teamwork, and stagecraft, the camp gives students a full theatrical experience.
For budding visual artists, Arts Discovery Camp, hosted by Jade Harmon, runs July 27–31 and August 3–7 from 9 AM–1 PM. This camp encourages experimentation across mediums, helping young creators explore new materials and techniques in a welcoming and joyful environment.
