Registration to become Miss Vermont 2026 and Miss Vermont’s Teen 2026 is open. The scholarship competition is an official preliminary to the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competitions and part of the largest scholarship provider for women in the world. The 2026 competition will be held April 25, 2026 and April 26, 2026 at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe. Contestants compete in interview, talent, on-stage question, fitness and evening gown.

Each local contestant is awarded an official Miss America local crown and sash in addition to the opportunity to make appearances in their community as well across Vermont with Miss Vermont 2025 Sophia Parker and Miss Vermont’s Teen 2025 Emma Danaher. The 2026 prize package includes cash and in-kind scholarships valued at over $125,000 in total, a trip to the national Miss America and Miss America’s Teen competitions, gifts and services provided by program sponsors, plus the opportunity to make appearances for the organization and various nonprofits across New England.

In addition, Miss Vermont’s Teen 2026 receives a full-tuition scholarship to the University of Alabama.
