The challenge was raised, and we did it! YOU did it! The two August Challenge Grants have been met. Many thanks to Charlie Hunter and Flying Under Radar who got this ball rolling with the initial challenge, and to the anonymous listener who subsequently upped the stakes… and especially to all of you who pitched in to help make it happen. The funds will be used for two important things: to help pay down W-O-O-L’s upgrade loan, and to install significantly better connectivity equipment. Together, we ARE mighty. And we ARE your biggest fans.

Streaming and archiving are back! The server that had been running 24/7 to deliver our web stream for many years took its leave from this mortal coil. It cost a few bucks to get things going again. It’s worth noting that there’s no payroll here at your all-volunteer community radio station, and no dividends lining anybody’s pockets. 100% of all funds WOOL receives goes to the costs of staying on the air (and on the web)… Memberships are meaningful!
