A BIG thank you to everyone who helped us meet our thousand dollar challenge grant! In just two and a half weeks Black Sheep Radio raised $1000 from its friends to help pay down our upgrade equipment loan.

WE’VE BEEN OFFERED ANOTHER CHALLENGE.

Another donor has offered a continuation. This person is willing to match $500 in additional contributions if we can raise it by the original deadline of September 1st. We’re already part way there.

These extra donations will be used for equipment to provide more robust connectivity for our broadcast. Sovernet, our Bellows Falls based service provider, will generously donate more bandwidth, but the hardware needs to be paid for. This $500 matching grant will pay for the new equipment.

To celebrate the accomplishment of our Vermont Life feature story, Flying Under Radar has created a challenge grant for the month of August, 2016 only.

Flying Under Radar will donate $1,000 to the payment of our upgrade loan if we can raise an equal or greater amount by September 1st. If we can’t make the $1,000 match, we don’t get the grant.

As you may recall, WOOL-FM took out a loan (for the first time in its history) to purchase the equipment needed for the upgrade from Low-Power FM to our much more powerful Class A license.
