Ten years ago the Board of Directors of Great Falls Community Broadcasting Company sent out the first invitation to WOOL’s Annual Membership Meeting. Ten years. They flipped on the broadcasting switch that day and became one of the first Low Power FM stations in America.

A lot’s happened since then. Even though we’ve grown to a full power non-commercial educational station, we’re still the community-based station we were when we started. Now more than ever we need your participation and support in this noble enterprise.

This year’s Annual Meeting is on Sunday afternoon, June 28, at 3:00 right here at 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls. If you’re not a member or if your membership has lapsed, you can join or renew at the meeting in time to vote on the big issues facing us, and take part in electing next year’s Board of Directors.

There’s also going to be a potluck dinner, so bring something to share if you can.
