“Matt Peake and Friends” along with Main Street Arts will be offering East Coast Swing lessons and Ballroom Waltz lessons during February and March, as well as two East Coast Swing Dances. Looking to dance at an upcoming wedding or festive event, or just experience the joy of moving rhythmically to music, Swing and Waltz may be for you!

Swing Dances will have a DJ and go from 7 to 9 PM on February 29th and also in March on the 14th and the 21st.

Lessons will be back to back one hour sessions, Swing from 7-8pm and Waltz from 8-9pm. Each hour will have a 15 to 20 minute lesson with the rest of the hour for dancing. For those new to Swing dancing, instructors will be available from 6:30 to 7:00pm to help introduce dancers to the Swing patterns ahead of the formal lesson. For those new to Waltz, instructors will be available after the lesson to help.

Classes are mixed levels—no experience required
No partner necessary
$5 per person per lesson; $5 per person for the Swing Dances
Masks are optional.
