The Latchis Theater presents Sorry for Your Loss: A Comedy Show About Grief – A fundraiser for Brattleboro Area Hospice.

Michael Cruz Kayne is a comedian and writer on The Late Show with Steven Colbert. However, his life isn’t always funny. The loss of his young son profoundly changed his world and his family. In this hilarious, difficult, and touching show about grief, Cruz finds moments of humor, compassion, and ultimately some assemblance of acceptance. If everyone dies, why does nobody talk about it? A Q&A will follow the performance.

Please note: Recommended for mature audiences. Content warning: This show discusses the loss of a child.

Brattleboro Area Hospice’s mission is to offer services and support – free of charge – for serious illness, death, and grief, while engaging our community in conversations about mortality and life. We provide a broad range of volunteer-based services for living and dying well, focusing on serious illness, end-of-life, grief and advance care planning. Our programs reflect our community’s values of kindness, decency, and dignity. Founded in 1979 on the belief that no one should die alone, we are dedicated to offering all services free of charge.

Ticket Costs – This is our only fundraising event of the year. We appreciate your generosity!
