Jonathan Biss benefit concert for Marlboro Town Library

On Sunday, September 16, at 4pm at the Brattleboro Music Center, renowned pianist and co-director of the Marlboro Music Festival, Jonathan Biss, will perform a concert to benefit the brand new Marlboro Town Library.

The program will include Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart, and Schumann. A post concert reception with refreshments will be provided.

Mr. Biss appears regularly as a soloist with leading orchestras, is a composer, an author, and a faculty member at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. He has been coming to Marlboro for twenty years and calls it his “true musical home”.

This benefit concert, presented in collaboration with the Brattleboro Music Center, will raise money for the new Marlboro Town Library to purchase books and materials that cater to a wide range of ages and interests.

Tickets ranging in price from $30 for general seating to $50 for preferred seating are available on the Brattleboro Music Center website at www.bmcvt.org

The concert takes place in the concert hall at 72 Blanche Moyse Way in Brattleboro.
