“The Arts of Resistance” Multi-Dimensional Art Event in Bellows Falls, June 15 and July 20. On Friday, June 15 from 5 to 10PM, local visual, musical, and lyrical artists celebrate “creative meets political” and community. The Arts of Resistance is an evening of two- and three-dimensional art and performances exploring the spectrum of reactions to this tumultuous political time in our country.

The events open on 3rd Friday in June with art work and performances at Project Space 9 Gallery (PS9), the Exner Block art gallery on Canal Street, and Canal St Art Gallery on Canal Street, and will continue at 33 Bridge
Street, all in Bellows Falls, Vermont.

In addition to visual art, troubadours and poets will perform originals and some beloved favorite protest songs.

Performances on 6/15 will include The Cold River Ranters, The Milkhouse Heaters, and Pete & Linda Simoneaux and Friends. Music will start at Project Space 9 at 9 Canal St from 5 to 8 pm, and end with a group singalong of Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A Changin’.” The music will continue at Stage 33 Live at 33 Bridge St, Bellows Falls, VT from 8:30 to 11 pm.

All events at PS9 and Stage 33 Live are free but a suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.
