Mid-River Bulletin Board
A timely event and information service for and by the communities in and around the Mid-Connecticut River Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire

Vermont Raptors

Monday, August 14, 2017
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Rockingham Free Public Library
65 Westminster St
Bellows Falls, VT

On Monday, August 14 at 5 p.m. meet some of Vermont’s birds of prey with the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum! Live hawks, owls, and falcons will be on hand for a face-to-face exploration of what it takes to be a raptor. Their role in the environment and history with humans can help us learn from the past and help us build a better world for the future.

Please note, there will be live animals at this program.

This program is presented as part of the Rockingham Library’s 2017 Summer Reading Program: Build a Better World. The programs will continue until August 21st. Each week the Library has multiple storytimes, programs for families and teens, weekend events, and more. All programs are free and open to the public and you don’t need to have a Library card to take part. The Library will continue serving lunch until August 16; youth 18 and younger eat for free. There are no sign-ups or registration required. However, do let the Library know that you’ll be coming so enough lunches can be ordered. For more information about this or any other youth program call the Library at 802.463.4270, email youthservices@rockinghamlibrary.org, go online to rockinghamlibrary.org/srp, or stop by the Library at 65 Westminster St in Bellows Falls.

The Mid-River Bulletin Board is facilitated by WOOL-FM.
