Megan of the Mists

Friday, May 19, 2017
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Village Square Booksellers
32 The Square
Bellows Falls, VT

Reading and Signing of Bill Lockwood’s new mass market historical fiction novel “Megan of the Mists” at Village Square Booksellers, 34 Square, Bellows Falls, May 19 at 7:00 PM.

Bill Lockwood’s “Megan of the Mists” will have its local premier reading and book signing event at Village Square Booksellers. His new book is set in Northern Ireland during “the troubles” of the 1970s.

Megan helps run contraband over the border for the illegal Irish Republican Army, trusting the ancient fairies of the mounds along the way to see her safely home. As she is drawn farther into rebel plots, she falls for a British soldier and is horrified to learn the IRA plans for him and his fellows to be blown up at their favorite bar — with a bomb she delivers and sets off.

Paperback copies of both his books will be available during the event. Electronic copies can be ordered through the publisher, The Wild Rose Press, thewildrosepress.com or through Amazon.

The Mid-River Bulletin Board is facilitated by WOOL-FM.
