New England Center for Circus Arts
74 Cotton Mill Hill #300
The New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) is a destination training center for serious acrobats and aerialists from all over the world. Spring programming is open to all interested students including gymnasts, snowboarders, dancers, athletes, and fitness seekers of all ages and all levels.
Circus offers a non-competitive way to get fit and have fun: From Parent-and-Tot circus experiences, to a youth circus troupe for the more serious acrobat… from juggling classes for timid movers hoping to gain coordination, to morning conditioning classes for adults hoping to get fit gently but effectively. NECCA has 60+ classes a week with options for age 18 months to adult.
NECCA is recognized by the American Youth Circus Organization as an international leader in curriculum development with attention to teaching to the heart and dreams of every student and meeting them at their own level of fitness and aspiration. Coaches are trained in adapting content for mobility and learning challenged students, as well as techniques for creativity and fitness training for aspiring professionals and recreational enthusiasts.
Spring session is open for enrollment and classes begin Monday, March 20. Schedule and registration is available online at necenterforcircusarts.org
Summer Camps for youth are also open for enrollment and are planned in the new NECCA building that adds an in-ground trampoline, tramp wall, and indoor flying trapeze.
