Local public transit interim changes (Current, Moover)

Monday, April 6, 2020
PSA

The Moover and The Current remain in operation with limitations.

Demand response riders are being screened ahead of time for medical appointments, meal sites, and shopping trips, as are the drivers and volunteers who transport them.

Seating is restricted in the rows behind and beside the driver’s seat to maintain a six-foot personal zone. Vehicles are sprayed and wiped down before each shift. Fares have been eliminated in the effort to reduce areas that may be a surface to spread infection.

Riders are encouraged to stay home or self-transport if possible.

The Route 73 Bellows Falls-Hanover morning run served by The Current will be stopped (effective Monday, March 23), riders needing to get to Hanover should take Route 74 which leaves one hour later at 6:15 AM. Route 74’s afternoon run will operate as scheduled.

In Brattleboro, the Current will run the Saturday schedule on a daily basis (starting Monday, March 23). The Brattleboro Music Center, Winston Prouty Center, Cotton Mill, Groundworks Shelter, Omega, Exit 1 Industrial Park, and the Guilford Country will not be served.

There are no route changes at present on the Moover routes.

To stay informed of any changes, visit www.crtransit.org or www.moover.com, or sign up for notifications on the Transit app.

The Mid-River Bulletin Board is facilitated by WOOL-FM.
