Fiesta dinner and dance + silent auction fundraiser for The Compass School Global Connections program

Saturday, February 29, 2020
6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Compass School
7892 US-5
Westminster, VT

The Compass School presents a Fiesta dinner and dance with a silent auction on February 29 from 6 to 9:30 at the Compass School on Route 5 in Westminster.

In April, the Junior class will travel to Mexico for 14 days. The students and teacher chaperones have chosen this destination and have been planning an exciting and safe travel experience. The goals of this trip include increasing cross-cultural understanding, learning how to be travelers rather than tourists, and appreciating life in another part of the world.

Trips like these are life-changing experiences, and the school is committed to offering this opportunity to all members of the Junior class, regardless of their ability to pay. This means a significant amount of fundraising to accomplish.

The Fiesta event includes a silent auction, a multi-course dinner, and a musical performance by Eugene and Julian’s Latin Party Band, featuring a six-piece jazz band fronted by musicians Eugene Uman and Julian Gerstin.

Tickets are $20 individual, $50 family, and $10 student – or donating an item or a gift card to use in the silent auction.

For tickets or more information contact the Compass School at info@compass-school.org or 802-463-2525
