Bob Wilson will introduce his book “Vermont . . . Who Knew?: Quirky Characters, Unsung Heroes, Wholesome Offbeat Stuff” on Monday, Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the Rockingham Library.

This nonfiction travel book contains 125 profiles, essays, and anecdotes, serious and humorous alike. The entries bring together the most unique people, places, and events — past and present — that the Green Mountain state has to offer. Several of the book’s featured subjects will attend and contribute to the event. (U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders wrote the Foreword, but likely will not be available.)

Signed copies will be available at $16.95, a library discount of $2.00 off the cover price.

Bob Wilson of Saxtons River is the author of 14 books and a contributor to various magazines. His background includes editorial positions at McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Macmillan.
