"Music Under the Stars" concert: the BMC Brass Quintet

The Brattleboro Music Center and Retreat Farm “Music Under the Stars” concert series features the BMC Brass Quintet on Saturday, July 13. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with the free concert starting at 7:30 p.m. at Retreat Farm, located at 45 Farmhouse Square in Brattleboro (next to Grafton Village Cheese).

The group will play a variety of music arranged for brass quintet, ranging from classic Baroque to popular and jazz pieces. Selections from West Side Story will be featured.

The series continues Aug. 17 with a performance by Becky Tracy and Keith Murphy, and concludes with a performance by the Windham Orchestra Sept. 28 to celebrate the fall equinox and the Orchestra’s 50th anniversary.

Concertgoers are free to spread out blankets and lawn chairs. Attendees can bring their own picnic dinner or choose from an array of food truck fare.
