Springfield Farmers Market Accepting Vendor Application

The Springfield Farmers’ Market will be opening for the season Saturday June 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and has space available for qualified vendors. This market offers agriculture products such as produce, meats , eggs. plants, baked, processed and catered foods as as well as maple syrup and honey products, authors and artisans with handcrafted items. If you think you may fit any of these categories or something different that may fit in at a farmers’ market, let us know. Applications and rules are available on the market web site springfieldvtfarmersmarket.com. The fees for seasonal vendors (at least 14 markets) is $25 plus $10 per market, day vendors pay $15 per market, non profits pay $10 per market and youth vendors (18 and under with adult supervision) pay $5 per market. Six markets qualifies vendors to set up with the market at VT Apple Festival October 12 at Riverside Middle School. There is a vendors license required by the town of Springfield for $10, a form can be downloaded from our website. The market is also inviting local businesses to apply to set up for a one time promotion of your business, regular fees will apply for any additional dates. There will be two spring markets to be held at the United Methodist Church on Valley St. Saturday April 13 and May 11 from 10 – 1. Interested vendors should reserve a space (10×10) by April 3 as space is limited. Applications are available on the market website or call 802-885-4096

The Springfield Farmers’ Market is located on lower Clinton St. on a grassy area just before Nortrax Equipment Co., there is plenty of parking at this location. There will be music for opening day June 1 and various weeks through out the season. The market is open rain or shine unless the weather is dangerous. This market is NOT open on Springfield’s Alumni Day June 15. We are a non profit vendor run farmers’ market, look for us on Facebook
